"Gypsy"

Sumisu walks along the American roads in shame. The grim Arizona roads only serving to make him feel worse. There he runs into Krauser who is snuggling a dog and calls Sumisu crazy. Krauser welcomes Sumisu as wrestling family. Krauser gives a short speech, the first rousing one in a while that actually gives an explanation of his beliefs. The way that wrestlers must rely upon the knowledge of old and learn wisdom and the way those things exceed what modern technology can do. He refers to these as being the same as an animal using it's muscles to survive- in this way he also believes wrestling and the process of becoming a wrestler to be a microcosm of human nature in some ways.

Krauser wants the reformation of wrestling to come from wrestlers uniting, not people being lead by one exceptional wrestler. "A pyramid is built of many stones. Everyone needs to cooperate. But for that to happen, we need to unite under one ideal. If we could do that, then the day will come for us to leave out pasts behind and join hands again... It would be a time of peace and harmony." The two then abruptly fight.

Krauser talks about how every human is different (like raindrops) and how those differences inform wrestling. Therefore no one could write a textbook on wrestling as there's just too much to take into account. He then teaches Sumisu a technique that Phaze once called 'immoral'. He gives Sumisu some more sage advice, including a german proverb "The truth is too harsh for fools, and the world is full of them. So no one wants to hear it" so true, my man. Sumisu then leaves for Bangkok to learn Muay Thai and to fight the worlds strongest Muay Thai fighter. After settling into a hotel room his phone rang and he was shocked to hear the voice on the other side. "Sumisu..." A woman's voice. Reikos! She's staying at a nearby hotel and wants him to come over but this sudden message makes Sumisu worry.

Reiko and Sumisu banter for a bit and Sumisu declines to drink with her because of what Wakamoto taught him. Reiko laments that she's in love with him. Reiko says she loves him and loves that he loves her but Sumisu now believes he isn't worthy of her love and wants to become stronger- that all it takes is looking at her for his resolve to waiver and he wants to overcome that weakness too. Reiko says he'll never be able to defeat Akira so long as he remains so naive, she says that he must abandon his idolization and see all wrestlers as enemies. She identifies herself as a femme fatale but assures Sumisu that her love has defanged her and that she's willing to do what it takes for their love to blossom. Reiko says that she's willing to wait for him and the two depart.
