Prideful
I went to the dentist recently. I hate hate hate the dentist.
I was particularly nervous about it due to outstanding issues but it was surprisingly pleasant!
For some reason they were really buttering me up and a shockingly handsome dentist guy who assaulted my gums said that my hair smelled good. Another dentist said that my flossing was good. I mean, perhaps the hair one reads more as a real compliment but everytime I floss I fantasize of being praised for it.
That's not a joke.
I've been to a shocking amount of dentists and they all hold my hand. Is that normal? They see that I get scared and just offer it, which I always accept. I've never told anyone that? Is that just something they do? Does anyone else hold their dentist's hand? I mean, like not the actual dentist but one of the helper people who are always there alongside the dentist for somewhat unclear reasons...
Actually, now that I think of it... I get my hand held a lot at the doctors too, I'm a bit more neurotic than I realized. Thank you doctors and nurses and dental assistants!
