Welcome to Paradise. This is the helpdesk.
My name is Mgulrur, this is my sister Nfarlal. She knows this website and Cudoc's shameful heart in and out.
Of course Nfarlal is a wealth of knowledge herself. She is the quintessential expert on physical spaces- the empirical truth, anything the Net hasn't touched.
So...What would you like to know?
Phoenix is a newbie agent, now just within the department but also the Company as a whole. He's had prior experiences with fictional violence and it haunts him to this day. He had a special eye made to contain his delusions but it was destroyed in a fight and now his thoughts simply spill out.
Where did the fire come from?
The First World is plagued by new diseases and syndromes that no one understands the origins of. It's true that spontaneous human combustion has been on the rise almost perfectly parallel Hotcar Syndrome. Make sure to eat some eggs!
Current science believes there's no such thing as spontaneous combustion, yet, humans die in equally sudden ways regardless. Life is a fickle thing. Sometimes it feels as if you must be mentally unwell to understand this simple fact.
Tev is one of the most prolific agents of the Truth Department where he seperates fact from fiction with fascist force. Though he's largely uninterested in his job. He spends his days trying to find himself in the peaks and valleys of youth culture. A romantic heart with an emotionless mind.
Why is this boy so well known? It seems as if he really gets around...
The truth is that his identity is central to Heilen's current scheme. I wonder if he'll end this story as a spanner or a cog?
Some seem familiar even if you just met them. There's a comfort to be found in the repeating elements of life. Comfort, comfort but no joy. A friend you once had but forgot about.
Imma has been with the Company for nearly his whole life. He's someone who walks with uncertainty but never truly questions where he's going. A dangerous man.
What is his relationship to Tev?
They've been coworkers for years and seemingly have a lifelong friendship but the truth is that Tev is only in his early twenties. Isn't that strange? Nevertheless, there's no one that Tev trusts more.
Love takes many names and many forms. Love is bound only by the language we use to express it. For some, only silence can capture their hearts. Love beyond language.
Fiction.
Games and short stories written by Cudoc
Fake little tales. That's all.
Kill The Past is the umbrella label given to many of Goichi Suda's (Suda51) works.
Cudoc is quite a fan of them and wants to share them with the world
Within Kill The Past is a list of most of Suda51's works, how to play them, how they connect, the characters and chapters within
If there's one you want to play then please click the link to it and read about where and how to play it. If you're interested in the Kill The Past "series" then these links will also inform you of which games are best played before the other.
But, of course, Suda51's games are rather easy to get into in that most aren't truly connected in such a conventional way and thus can largely be played in any order. Though there is something special to experiencing them as they released as Cudoc did.
Sad little things.
Cudoc's life. Cudoc's hopes. Cudoc's dreams. Cudoc's fears. Cudoc's desires. But their shame is nowhere to be seen. Strange. Strange indeed.
Personal is just what it says on the tin. It's personal.
A pathetic affair. An attempt at self aggrandizing. An attempt to manufacture a self that is free of shame, but some shames are meant to be worn forever.
The helpdesk, dumbass.
It, and the rest of the homepage, are a reference to Suda51's Moonlight Syndrome.
Cudoc's favorite game. No, wait, second favorite game.
To know the importance of the phrase- please play Moonlight Syndrome.
The site owner. It's short for Cut Doctor.
Their original name was Hyena Shot but they got locked out of that account...
Both names are in reference to cases the Heinous Crimes Unit solved outside of the events seen in Suda51's The Silver Case
Pause then unpause the music player. Alternatively skip the first song and then press play.
Really do anything then press play. The first song that appears is always glitched, it's easy to solve but not very intuitive.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
From the homepage the site immediately splits into three routes. Personal, Kill The Past and Fiction.
These bars show the construction progress on these three paths. If a bar is missing, and hopefully all of them are by the time you're reading this, then construction has finished on that particular part.
I assume you're talking of the little bit at the bottom? The silly image that Cudoc is meant to change out weekly but rarely does?
That's just a silly bit. You'll notice some come back when Cudoc begins to miss them like the Bill and Ted "Bread and Water Soup" or Yugi's "AIM FOR THE HEAD ANGEL" that's because those are Cudoc's favorites.
Though there is a news...Uh thing. Line. That changes when there's a major update to the site.
Perhaps that's what you were referring to?
Oh hoh hoh?
I didn't think anyone would notice...
Yes, it's true. If you hover over them then they speed up comedically!
...
That's not what you were asking about?
Why are they there?
You're no fun. Oh well...
Reload your page once you click on Personal to get a whole new litany of video game soundtracks to listen to.
Then, if you prefer those to the Suda51 OSTs then click the spin .gifs to take your new playlist with you to other parts of the site.
Though... That's not all.
One of the spin .gifs is the entrance to a secret shrine...!
They denote what kind of medium this work used.
It's a bit unintuitive but a full guide would be boring! Please figure this out on your own lol
It's not my diary. It's Cudoc's.
The dream diary has been removed.
The diary, too, may be removed soon.
Hm...
It's a spoiler from Persona 3.
Cudoc's favorite game.
Chronodia, also known as Casey, was a Kill The Past artist who would pass away in February of 2024.
He was known for his stylish, symbol heavy art as well as his more playful ship art.
Though his perspective and relationship to Kill The Past was far different from my own, it was clear that Casey had a strong grasp on the more esoteric aesthetics. It was an invaluable way of looking at the works that will never be replicated.
He and the site owner had interacted a short few times but they felt such excitement every time they got an alert that Casey had posted. In such a small fandom; it’s strange how little it takes to form a sense of familiarity.
The device that created the site is covered in stickers of Casey’s artwork, of his expressions, of his invaluable and irreplaceable interpretations of Kill The Past.
It may sound odd to speak with such reverence for a stranger but anyone who shares my love has some of my love. Besides, even beyond death as the art of his I see everyday gives him a place in my life- stranger or otherwise.
It's just some mumbo jumbo.
The frequency at which this site connects to a certain lovely (loving) computer
It's what keeps us real and ensures that the Concrete Lounge never becomes fiction
It's also a tribute of sorts.
This site is Cudoc's paradise.
Simply somewhere to relax.
So it has to have everything within. All sorts of facilities
Even if they don't go used. It's important to have them be available for use.
If that makes sense.
If it doesn't then...Well, who cares?
